What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application does not require registration or personal information to use it. However, it collects certain usage and device information automatically through a third-party analytics service called Mixpanel.

This information may include:

• Device information such as device type, operating system version, screen size, app version, language, and time zone
• Application usage events such as when the app is opened, updated, backgrounded, or when certain features are used
• Session information such as session start and end times, and duration

The data is collected in an anonymized or pseudonymized form and does not include personally identifiable information like your name or email address. It is used solely to understand how the Application is used, diagnose technical issues, and improve features and performance.

Does the Application collect precise real-time location information?

No. The Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The Service Provider shares certain anonymized or pseudonymized usage data with Mixpanel for analytics purposes as described above. No personally identifiable information is collected or shared without your consent.

What are my opt-out rights?

You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. Use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or through the application marketplace or network.

You can also request to opt out of Mixpanel analytics tracking by contacting the Service Provider at info@shadowdog.ai. Instructions or an opt-out will be provided as appropriate.

Children

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to monitor their children’s internet usage and to help enforce this policy by instructing them never to provide personally identifiable information without permission.

If you believe a child has provided personally identifiable information through the Application or Services, please contact the Service Provider at info@shadowdog.ai so that necessary actions can be taken. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (or have a parent or guardian do so on your behalf where permitted).

Security

The Service Provider is concerned with safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Although the Application collects only anonymized usage data, reasonable measures are taken to protect any data collected from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all updates.
